healthy living day at 2 local schools

Members and volunteers of speedwell table tennis club gave up their time to do a exhibition and information stall at 2 local schools.
Poolsbrook infants school and Springwell School both held a healthy living day which we were invited to promote healthy living and our club.
parents and children from both schools had a enjoyable and educational day with some great advice on how to change to a healthy lifestyle and were to get help and advise, also exercise and dance exhibition was on show were children and parents could join in.
A healthy lunch was provided at Poolsbrook Hotel for all which was quite impressive.
Later in the afternoon children were given a chance to play table tennis.
Before children and parents went home a thank you to all who organized the day.
Children left with a goodie bag.
Poolsbrook School was presented with a gold award for healthy living changes they had made which was making the whole school a no smoking zone. Also parts of the village have been designated no smoking zones. Back to top
