Netherthorpe School will be having table tennis coaching at the club as from the 12th June.
Talks with club chairman Bill Cooney and development officer Briony cooney for the club with school SSCo officer Caroline White has signed up with the club links programme.
Because many schools in the area have little room for table tennis tables and equipment we decided to open the club up to the schools in the area to come to us, Netherthorpe school took up the offer. This could also be taken up by other schools in the SSCo officers catchment area.
Coaching sessoins will take place with qualified E.T.T. A. Coach Derrick Marples who was voted Coach of the Year 2006. Other coaches will be on hand.
